This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, a spa center, and a game room. The staff even helped me find my lost jewel on my first visit. I highly recommend experiencing the relaxation pools. I'm returning for Christmas!

Ideal for a group getaway
The buffet served was massive—like, crab legs you could barely lift! And, I’m telling you, the onsen experience was unreal, just soaking in those hot springs with a perfect view of autumn colors.
Not exactly cheap, but worth it, I guess.

I stayed at Dai-Ichi Takimotokan for one night in a traditional Japanese room with tatami mats. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome right away. The onsen experience was fantastic, especially the outdoor pool with views of the mountains, which I really appreciated. The breakfast buffet offered both Western and Japanese options, with plenty of delicious choices. I loved the variety, and the fresh sashimi at dinner was a highlight too. However, I found the checkout time a bit too early at 10:00 AM, which made my morning feel rushed. The incline of distance to Hell Valley is manageable, but the hotel could benefit from clearer signage to guide guests better. I didn't enjoy that the breakfast hours ended around 9:00 AM, especially since I feel like 9:30 or 10:00 AM would be more suitable for guests who want to enjoy a leisurely morning.

It was just a great fit for a holiday in Noboribetsu with good value for price. I really enjoyed soaking in the huge outdoor onsen while watching the leaves fall in the rain. Consider going for a room that overlooks the gardens for a more peaceful experience.

would like to stay there on the next trip
The Japanese-style room was huge and very clean. Enjoyed the onsen, with multiple indoor and outdoor baths offering lovely views of Jigokudani. Buffet breakfast had numerous options, mostly Japanese dishes. Dinner was kaiseki with seasonal seafood. Hotel even provided yukata for comfort throughout the stay.

Had an awesome time with friends! The open-air bath while sipping hot sake with a view of Hell Valley was a highlight. We dined on exquisite dishes paired with carefully selected Hokkaido sakes that tempted all our senses. Overall, the onsen experience was unforgettable, and I recommend it to everyone!
Unfortunately, the check-in process was a bit slow, which put a damper on our arrival. It would be great if they could work on making that quicker for future guests.
